If Mayor Bambol of Tagaytay City had his choice, he would like God and tourists to continue to be on his side. God----because he has given the city its cool air and peaceful environment. Tourists and visitors----because annual revenues from tourism make up 80 percent of the city's coffers.

VISION

We envision the City of Tagaytay to be a Resort, Retirement Haven and Character City with a government geared towards excellence and supported by disciplined, honest, God-centered, healthy and united community.

MISSION

We shall expand and improve our infrastructure thereby securing a dynamic, safe, peaceful and healthy environment conducive for retirement, learning, sports and religious tourism.

We shall strive for service excellence through continuous learning on service improvement with emphasis on positive character qualities to serve our people better and leave a legacy that our family and community will be proud of.

We shall encourage the participation of our stakeholders in crafting and implementing plans, programs and activities to better address the needs or our people.

We shall be dedicated to the prevention and further enrichment of our environment.

We shall strive for excellence in all that we do, driven strenght and good character and seek to be competitive with the best in the world.

 

BALITANG TAGAYTAY

 

The people of Tagaytay led by Mayor Abraham “BAMBOL” N. Tolentino offered a requiem mass officiated by Fr. Peter Eugenio, OFM, Cap., for the former President Corazon C.Aquino, the icon of Philippine democracy.
