Peace and Order

The Tagaytay Component City Police Station (is located at Tagayaty Centrum, Barangay Kaybagal South, this city.   In order to ensure peace in order in the community particularly within the vicinity of commercial areas, a total of seven (7) sub-stations have been established. Just recently, the two (2) newly constructed Police Community Precinct buildings funded by the City Government were inaugurated by PDG RAUL M BACALZO, CPNP

The City has also created the Tagaytay Office of Public Safety (TOPS) under the Office of the City Mayor to support the Tagaytay City Police in maintaining peace and order in the City. The Tagaytay City Police force is composed of 3 officers, 92 non-officers and 1 non-uniformed personnel augmented by the Barangay Tanods (average of 10 per barangay);  Bantay-Lungsod under the Tagaytay Office of Public Safety (TOPS),  Traffic Aides  and  private security personnel manned  by different Security Agencies.

As a whole, the City has relatively low crime rate or a low incidence of crime.
